2011 off to a very late start.

With the late rain and unseasonably cool spring, we are off to a late start this year.  We look forward to our great Heirloom Tomatoes, Cherry Tomatoes, Summer Squash, Cucumbers, Peppers, Eggplant, Herbs, Melons, Specialty Beans and various other things.

Our main goals this season, are to install hedgerows for beneficial insects, bird boxes, and a wind break.  We recieved a grant to help us with these projects.  This project was started in 2010 and is expected to be done in the fall of 2011

We have continued our training program for interns again this year.  We have six interns this summer.  You may meet some of them at the Farmers Market.  They are a great crew and extremely friendly and work together very well.
